Oleates (oleic salts) are unsaturated fatty acid compounds that are useful as anti-caking agents, lubricants, heat stabilizers, paint driers, nanocrystal precursors, precious mineral floatation aids, mold release agents, synthetic chemical ingredients, thickening agents, waterproofing agents, etc. Oleates are easily biodegradable.
