Trolamine (triethanolamine) salicylate is an odorless, non-irritant, ionic liquid salt of salicylic acid. Compared with other mainstream salicylate derivatives such as wintergreen (methyl salicylate), trolamine salicylate is an odorless, chelator, emulsifier, surfactant or UVB blocking sunscreen agent.
