Magnesium glycinate

Magnesium glycinate is a water-soluble amino acid chelate of magnesium and glycine (aminoacetic acid). Due to its water solubility, magnesium glycinate is a viable substitute for mainstream inorganic salts such as magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, etc. where aqueous solubilities vary greatly, from poorly soluble magnesium oxide to more soluble magnesium salts. While the chloride and sulfate magnesium salts exhibit good water solubility, they are known to speciate spontaneously making magnesium more susceptible to precipitate and cause harm and other unintended problems.
