DMAE Salicylate

N,N-Dimethylethanolammonium salicylate (DMAE salicylate) is a yellowish viscous liquid made from two skin safe compounds; salicylic acid and DMAE. Salicylic acid is used in fighting acne while DMAE is prominent in skin rejuvenation. Combining the two into a single compound generates a hybrid material which assumes properties of both materials, and possibly open up new attributes.  Possible uses of DMAE salicylate include: •    Highly soluble, neutral, easy to handle, DMAE and salicylic acid carrier salt •    New saliclyl compound •    Biochemical / analytical reagent •    Phase transfer catalyst •    Antimicrobial preservative
